Taiwan Company Outing with WY_CO
Our most recent weekend will filled with waterfalls, laughter, and adventure as we took the work travel company WY_CO on a Taiwan trip to Sandiaoling and the PACK Animal Sanctuary. WY_CO is a company that arranges trips around the world ranging from one month to one year for individuals who can work remotely. Taipei is their current stop with upcoming trips to Melbourne, Buenos Aires, Lima, Medellin, Barcelona, and Lisbon on the way.
Saturday was cloudy, and ideal for waterfalls as recent rains brought surges of water cascading down the falls for a more impressive view. Guests enjoyed clambering across rope bridges, crawling into bat caves, and eating lunch beside a traditional temple. If it wasn’t for the lack of time, we would have taken a dip inside the clear pool above the third waterfall (Pipadong).
Regardless, Sandiaoling makes for a wonderful day hike. A great chance to bond with your team while enjoying the outdoors of Taiwan!
Included are some photos from the trip to Sandiaoling:
Sunday we had the pleasure of volunteering at the PACK Animal Sanctuary in Sanzhi. The PACK has over 400 rescue animals and a short staff that has to work overtime to take care of all the necessary duties on site. We love to bring people here to volunteer in Taiwan, as its real work. The results are obvious and the help is much needed and appreciated. Tasks always range from walking dogs, cleaning kennels, to feeding pigs and shoveling their pens, to more laborious work. This time we had the pleasure of cleaning out dog kennels and removing old, rotting wood piles from the forest. The volunteers from WY_CO were ready to roll the sleeves up, get muddy, and help out!
